My name is Martyn Ainsworth and I am a certified clinical ear care practitioner. I have completed a course with TympaHealth accredited by ENT UK, The British Society of Audiology (BSA) and The British Society of Hearing Aid Audiologists (BSHAA). I have worked for the emergency services for over a decade; my work as an immediate emergency responder has allowed me to build a vast experience in supporting and helping people within the local communities.
I established Clear Ear Healthcare after identifying that there is an increasing number of people struggling with their ears. I have always had problems with my ears from a young age so I appreciate how much of an affect this can have on day to day life. Now there is an increasing demand that can no longer be met by the NHS with many GP surgeries no longer providing earwax removal for patients. Referrals can be made by GP’s to ENT (Ear, Nose and Throat) specialists but this can result in lengthy waiting times resulting in many people going private to get the issues resolved where possible and practical.
